When Mahkamah Syariah Ipoh needed to revamp the sound in their multipurpose hall, the goal was simple: clear audio for every seat, whether it's an official ceremony or a community gathering. The room itself has challenging acoustics, so we went with a complete Topp Pro setup to keep speech intelligible and the coverage even across the entire space.

For the main house sound, we flew a line array consisting of eight Topp Pro L-Array 28H mid/high boxes and four Topp Pro L-Array 18S subwoofers. This line array system seperate to left and right side where The 28H modules handle speech and high-end clarity without getting harsh, while the 18S subs give enough low-end punch when needed. The whole array is powered by two Topp Pro TD1000.4DSP four-channel amps, which give us plenty of clean headroom and built-in protection for long events.

Over at the control desk, running the show is straightforward. We set up a Topp Pro DM16.6 digital board, which gives the operator motorized faders and a touchscreen to save scene recalls and tweak settings on the fly. To wrap up the installation, a Topp Pro DLM408-plus matrix processor handles the system tuning—holding down the crossovers, EQ, and delay alignment so the system stays stable day in and day out.

It’s a clean, practical system that just works. The venue gets reliable, crisp sound without any unnecessary complexity, and the hall is ready for whatever event comes through the doors next.
